June in Austin

After 8 years in our first owned home, the house Ben and I put blood and sweat into remodeling (well, mostly Ben), the neighborhood we saw growing from delinquency and crack houses to trendy and hip, and the house we brought our 2 babies back from the hospital, we finally took the jump and left it to 3 nice little renters.

A bit of shock going from city life where we could walk to good restaurants, cafes and parks, to country life. The latter is treating us well so far. We are lucky to have 37 acres of wilderness to run around and a beautiful creek and small waterfall to swim into, and to share it with all our friends!
